 Nabiac

After spending four weeks farm sitting in Clybucca, we said goodbye to the horses and chickens and to Carol the farm owner. Carol was happy for us to stay on if we wanted to hang around for a couple of months but the road was calling!
 …..
We headed south for a couple of hours and arrived at The National Motorcycle Museum in Nabiac.
It’s not far off the highway so you don’t have to go out of your way.
 ….
I made sure we could camp for the night when we got there as it was not well signed. I did notice an RV sign on the wall after parking up though.
We were told to park anywhere we liked and asked if were self contained, which we were. We parked on the large grassy area.  Two power point are available if you need it. You may need to book in advance if this is the case. Power is $10 per night.

After setting up we had a short drive to the small shops. They have the usual country town essentials. Grocery Store, Post Office, Church, bottle shop and not forgetting the pub. We got some basic shopping from the grocery store and had a drive around the back streets. Checking out the charming old church and timber buildings.
The Museum is $15 each if you want to check it out and closed at 4 pm. After 4 pm the place was ours as we were the only ones here. It re-opened at 9 am, which is when we headed south to our next stop 🙂
