24Hr Free Camp at The Leap Hotel QLD

This was our first free camp and recently went back for a visit.  We wanted to see if anything had changed. The camp used to be 48hrs but was now 24hr, still a great deal if you ask me. Mackay is only a 20 minute drive away. Parking is on a lovely grassy area. Tents are also welcome down by the banana trees.

It is on a main road but it gets quieter over night and didn’t bother us. We went to the pub for a drink and dinner, great for us having a free camp and for them having customers.

Great place for a overnight stop the locals are friendly and the beer is cold. Meals are good too.
