After looking on Wikicamp’s for the nearest dump point we found this gem. Tallangatta, it has a nice feel to the place surrounded in hills, trees and Lake Hume. Within a minutes drive of town there is the show grounds. Anyone can use the dump point at the show grounds and it says to see caretaker for water.

We had a drive around the show grounds, it has sites around the sports oval were you can connect to power and water. As we may stay on another occasion we took a few snap shots. It was quiet and had plenty of places to park for all size rigs.

Toilets and shower’s available and Wikicamps says pets ok.

Tallangatta is a great little town with an IGA, Library with free Wi-Fi. Also has coffee shops and Bakery, a couple of petrol stations and not forgetting the pub. Lots of vans were parked down the main street by the large grass triangle. You can use the seating areas or the electric BBQ. You can also get supplies or visit the tourist info centre.
