Carmila Beach is between Mackay and Marlborough. This $10pn, Two Week Maximum Stay camp is virtually on the beach. We headed here for a look as we were staying down the road at Flaggy Rock Recreation Grounds (See that camp here)

Carmila Beach Camp

Driving along the first part of the concrete/tree lined road we noticed the first camping area. This is the best place for larger vans and non off road vehicles.

As you drive down the lane the road turns to gravel and the different camp areas along the way turn to sand. If you have the right vehicle this area is great. It feels like you are on the beach.

Facilities

Toilets are at a couple of locations and they have a dump point. A short drive to the end of the street is a Carmila boat ramp, play ground and electric BBQ. A servo and a pub is a two minute drive away.
