The park was our first ever stop when we bought our van back in 2016. It was our stop again when we went back to Jayco Mackay for a service.

On both occasions the staff and other caravanners were friendly and chatty. The BBQ area had been updated and is a good place to cook up a storm and meet other travellers.

This is a large grassy park with drive through sites should you want one. Large slab or grass sites are available. Although the park is on a crossroad we didn’t hear the traffic at night.
The toilets and showers are clean like the park itself.
The modern rustic BBQ area is nice to cook up a storm and meet fellow travellers. They also have a pool and two camp kitchens.
A laundry is available as is a dump point.
Caravan and vehicle storage is available at this park as is long term parking. We have also stayed in a cabin the night before we picked up our van. They are also nice if you need a room for a night or two.
Woolworths and other shops are close by and your only 6km from Mackay CBD.
We found this a nice park with nice staff and would stay again.
