Boddington Memorial Park
Boddington is on the river with trees and greenery all around. And only a short walk to the town, what more do you need 🙂 A lovely place to spend a couple of nights.
It’s always surprising when we pull into a camp and discover it’s empty. Especially when it’s free! This was no different. The camp is 1.5hrs south east of Perth.
Deciding not to unhook as the town was a short stroll away, we parked overlooking the river.
The area is gravel/sand and has some shady spots under trees if you want it. A bench and bin are on one side of the camp and a walk down to the river is on the other.
You can walk a short couple of minute’s down the river to some toilets if needed. This is also where you will find a dump point. More tables, chairs and BBQ are also in this area.
This was a lovely place to sit, overlooking the river. Having happy hour and watching the sunset.
Boddington Town
In town we went for coffee and got a bit of shopping at the IGA. It’s a neat little town with all your basics including a second hand shop and hairdressers.
The Boddington Pub is 450 meters away so no need to drive and a great coffee can be had at Little Envy.
On the way we walked past a garden and I had to take a second look. Two tiny Kangaroo’s were nibbling on the front lawn. This is a house that rescues Joey’s and Native Bird’s. The gentleman who runs it was good enough to let me take some photos and a video 🙂
This is a great 48hr Free camp, close to town with a pub and a river. Well worth a stop for a night or two. They even have a couple of Cute Quirky things to look at as you walk through town 😀

Hi Martin,
I’m sorry, I cant help you with this question. I tried to google it but with no luck. You might want to try calling the local council to make sure? Enjoy your stay and happy travels 🙂
